Trenton Revitalization Without Displacement
Trenton is the capital of New Jersey, yet it remains one of the most underfunded and overlooked cities in our state. That must change.
I am proud to have Trenton in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, and I believe our capital city should be a place we are proud of—a city where people want to live, work, and visit.
But revitalization must be done the right way: without displacing the residents who have called Trenton home for generations.
As a Member of Congress, I will fight to bring federal funding into Trenton to:
-
Support and expand Black and Latino-owned businesses
-
Improve schools and increase access to education
-
Increase healthcare access and expand medical services
-
Build stronger hospitality options, entertainment, and nightlife
-
Create a vibrant capital city that attracts visitors and investment
Trenton should be a capital city that people visit and celebrate—like Austin, Nashville, and Sacramento.
I will work with the Governor, the Mayor, and the City Council to ensure this mission is accomplished and that Trenton receives the federal and state funding it deserves.
