Common Sense Gun Safety Laws

Gun violence is a national crisis, and Congress must treat it like one. We can respect responsible gun ownership while still passing common sense laws that protect our families, our schools, and our communities.

No one needs an assault rifle designed for mass killing. These weapons belong on battlefields — not in our neighborhoods.

I support banning assault rifles nationally, implementing universal background checks, and strengthening federal gun laws that keep firearms out of the wrong hands.

I also believe the minimum age to purchase a gun should be 21 years old. If you cannot legally buy a drink at a bar, you should not be able to purchase a firearm.

Kyle Little’s Commitment:

  • Ban assault rifles nationwide

  • Require universal background checks for all gun purchases

  • Raise the minimum gun purchase age to 21

  • Strengthen red flag laws to prevent violence before it happens

  • Crack down on illegal gun trafficking
